HYROX Just Dropped the Full 2026/27 Race Calendar — 107 Weekends, 6 Continents, and Some Events That Run Longer Than Your Recovery

HYROX has been busy. Yesterday the fitness racing machine released the second half of its 2026/27 global race schedule, and the numbers alone are enough to make your wallet sweat. The calendar spans 107 race weekends across six continents, with new host cities including San Diego, Portland, Bari (Italy), and Nagoya (Japan) joining the roster. So yes — there are now more HYROX races than there are days most people actually train.

The biggest headline isn't the new cities, though. It's the format shift.**

Several events will expand beyond their traditional one or two-day formats into residencies lasting as long as 10 days — a move designed to absorb record demand in the biggest markets. If you've ever tried to get a ticket for Amsterdam or Berlin and watched the wave slots vanish in minutes, this one's for you.

The scale makes sense when you look at the trajectory: the 2025/26 season delivered more than 200 days of racing and welcomed over 1.5 million athletes worldwide. The 2026/27 season expects to surpass 2 million competitors across those 107 race weekends.

Two. Million. Racers. In one season. For context: that's roughly the population of Vienna — all of them doing burpee broad jumps.

What else is new?**

HYROX Youngstars competitions continue expanding in North America this season, furthering youth participation in fitness racing. The next generation is already being traumatised by sled pushes, apparently.

The season culminates in Hong Kong in June 2027 — announced as the host of the 2027 World Championships at AsiaWorld-Expo, making it the first WC held in Asia.

One more thing worth noting: ticket sales for the respective regions are expected to open from the end of July. Set your alarm.

The first big chapter of the new season kicks off in just over a week — HYROX Delhi lands July 24–26**. Season's open.
